The fans of "Sons Of Anarchy" have been craving for more news and updates. The successful run of the TV series continue as producers reportedly work on a spin-off

Rumors have been circulating that Brad Pitt could be joining the new show as Jax Teller's father.

Kurt Sutter the creator and producer of the show has been setting his eyes on the "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" actor because of his similarity with Jax.

"Kurt is trying to get [the prequel] going," SOA star Charlie Hunnam revealed to Men's Journal in an interview. " Did you read that about Brad Pitt maybe playing my dad? Brad Pitt as John Teller? How awesome would that be?"

According to reports, Sutter does not want to set the story in today's generation, which could mean that there will be a small chance that Hunnam will be reprising his role.

Meanwhile,Sutter revealed that he will be starting the plot of the upcoming series on the "First Nine" members of the "Sons Of Anarchy" in Vietnam during the 1960's.

"So, we can see the roots of the club and I see it as a different show... I don't think it will be as pulpy," Sutter said, E Online revealed. "I feel it will be a little more, I don't want to say a historical show, but it takes place in the '60s and it's Vietnam, so there's a lot of iconic events happening around it that influence John Teller."

"We're figuring out what that would look like and I'm in the process of meeting with writers and narrowing it down," Sutter revealed, Design & Trend quoted. "My intent is, over the hiatus I'll initiate a script for the pilot and take it from there."
