After the news of reel-life couple Monica Geller (played by Courteney Cox) and Chandler Bing (Played by Matthew Perry) in 1994 sitcom ''Friends'' went viral, the TV media is experiencing a positive rush.

Going by the popularity of the show and the craze among the fans, NBC decided to call for a reunion of the ''friends'' cast on Feb. 21, 2016 at 9 PM. The fans are waiting to see the entire cast Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller).

Even though as per the last reports, Perry might not be able to make it. However, the fans want to know the reaction of all the ''Friends'' on this union of the reel couple. Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green in 'Friends') already had mentioned that she is ecstatic with the news of Matthew and Courteney dating.

Comedy Central's viewership increased for the evening slots after they started airing ''Friends'' for their Indian audience.

Hellogiggles reported that the cast will meet for the reunion. Is there a possibility of a real re-union after the TV cameras are put off?

Even though the fans of this popular TV series always wanted the makers to come up with more episodes, the show's co-creator Marta Kauffman does not have any plans of doing that. "For me, why go back to that territory again?" said Kauffman.

Kauffman pretty much confirmed that the fans can let go of the possibility of a movie altogether, too. "I will say there will never be a Friends reunion movie" clarified Kauffman.

The popularity of this show can be gauged by the fact that the tickets for Comedy Central's Friends festival were sold out within minutes even in the UK. Friends Fest, a five-day event in east London that celebrates the sitcom with a reconstruction of the American show's set, sold out within five minutes of going on sale. The Telegraph made a report on this said event which happened in Aug. 2015.

The fans are now waiting to get more news about the relationship between Perry and Cox and when they are planning to tie the knot. They are also keen to know the reaction of the rest of the cast on this union.
