Recent report suggests Deftones new album might be titled "Gore" and may get released on March 18, 2016.

According to ThePRP, an unnamed music journalist posted a screenshot of an alleged advance stream of the new Deftones album with a link to stream the record.

The screenshot teased the album as being titled "Gore," a release date of March 18, as well as a partial track list.

The track list included 10 songs titled "Prayers/Triangles," "Acid Hologram," "Doomed User," "Geometric Headdress," "Hearts/Wires," "Pittura Infamante," "Xenon," "(L)MIRL," "Gore" and "Phantom Bride".

As neither the band nor their label have confirmed the authenticity of the screenshot, so we would advise our readers to take the information with a grain of salt.

Back in October, the American music band had confirmed in an interview with NME that their new album is almost complete.

In the interview, band members Frank Delgado and Abe Cunningham said that the band is in the process of finishing the song mixes and deciding on the song and record titles.

"It's being mixed now," Cunningham said, reported Korea Portal. "It started being mixed a couple weeks back. They're actually going tomorrow to go down and listen to mixes and do things and... We're mixing and we still are in the process of album title, artwork, song titles. We haven't even got there yet, but the music's done."

Drummer Frank Delgado confirmed during the same interview that the record would be released early next year.

"It's going to come out in the new year," Delgado said, courtesy of NME. "We had some dates that were already kind of tentative."

Delgado also revealed in another interview that the follow up to their 2012 "Koi No Yokan" release will undoubtedly surprise fans.

The upcoming new album will be Deftones first post bass player Chi Cheng's death in 2013.
