''Touched with Fire'' is an upcoming American drama romance film directed and written by Paul Dalio. Katie Holmes will play the role of Carla, Luke Kirby will play the role of Marco, Christine Lahti will play the role of Sara, Griffin Dunne will play the role of Geroge and Bruce Altman will play the role of Donald in this movie.
It is set to be released in the cinemas in the USA on Feb. 12, 2016, just before the Valentine's Day. The film is about two bipolar poets Carla and Marco who meet in a psychiatric hospital and fall in love. This movie has drawn the name from the book by Kay Redfield Jamison of the same name which was published in 1996. However, the film is not an adaptation of Jamison's book.
As per the latest report on EW.com, "When I came across 'Touched With Fire', it was a revelation," director Paul Dalio said in an interview with The Huffington Post earlier this year. "You go from thinking you're a genetic defect to maybe thinking it's a gift. You go from thinking that I'm going to just get by in life to maybe I can do something meaningful in life with this. There's a beauty to it."
Lately, Holmes has been in the media coverage for the custody of Suri the only daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. On June 29, 2012, Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise in New York after five years of marriage with Cruise.
The media was also abuzz with the news of her engagement with Jamie Foxx, however, this ''First Daughter'' famed actress Katie remains the darling of the fans.
