A strange object was documented hovering alongside a jet's contrail on Jan. 14, 2016 by an eye witness from El Cajon, California. He reportedly captured the incident on video but didn't think it was a UFO sighting at first.
Roger Mash, UFO writer, content developer and Director of Communications for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) reported on Open Minds how a witness was purportedly outdoors and about to go to work at around 11:30 a.m. when he noticed a "jet heading straight up" that immediately caught his attention.
The witness began videotaping what he saw out of curiosity and fascination. According to Mash, the man didn't have a clue in the beginning that it was more than just an aircraft he captured on tape. It was only when he and his girlfriend were playing back the video that they made the UFO sighting of a strange object this 2016.
The unidentified unit was hard to see in plain sight but can be clearly noticed when the video was put in slow motion and the actual sighting captured in video screenshots by the couple.
"It was at about 0:10-0:11 seconds into the video when I saw an object go past, extremely fast from the right side of the video and head to the left side of the video," the witness told MUFON. "I took screenshots to analyze it a bit better. It looks like something I've never seen. Not a bug or bird."
In a similar news by UFO Sightings Daily, the witness accounted that he was at first "excited and sort of skeptical." He, later on, decided to upload the video on YouTube to show his family and friends and get their opinion about it. According to the witness' testimonial, most of the people who've seen the video said that it was indeed a 2016 UFO sighting.
