The Russo brothers talk about why "Captain America: Civil War's" Spider-Man hasn't been revealed yet.

Cinema Blend reported that Anthony and Joe Russo has opened up about the reason why "Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man is notably absent from promotional news, images and trailers.

"The reason why we still won't talk about [the costume] is that Marvel and Sony still have to work out what uses they have for the character, on a promotional level, on a commercial level," they told Collider. "There's still complications as far as that goes that involves business deals."

The publication noted that Tom Holland's "Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man seems to be caught in between two Hollywood giants, Marvel and Sony.

Apparently, the deal between the two companies allows Marvel to have control over the character when he's alongside the Avengers while Sony has control over Spidey during his solo adventures.

CB added that this requires major coordination from the two studios. It could mean more surprises for fans, though, if Marvel continues to keep "Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man under wraps.

Tom Holland's "Captain America: Civil War" Spider-Man performance was described as "off the charts awesome" and "amazing" by director James Gunn. He also admitted that the highly-anticipated film is incredible.

According to Comicbookmovie.com, Joe Russo teased that fans may only get to see Tom Holland's Spider-Man when the film premieres this May. "What's our release date? Is it like May 6th? I think May 6th is when you'll finally be able to see him," the director quipped.

It was previously reported that "Captain America: Civil War's" Spider-Man costume may give the web-slinging hero camera shutters for vision. It was said that the suit will be "a mix of what everyone is wanting and a little twist."

Another speculation suggested that the "Iron Spider" costume will be patterned after Iron Man's red and gold signature look but Spidey could eventually abandon it for his iconic red and blue suit.
