Taylor Swift and Harry Styles may be out of each other's radars these days but a TV show apparently has them both in mind.
In a report on Hollywood Life, it was mentioned that "Scream Queens" showrunner Ryan Murphy was eyeing the "Shake It Off" co-star for an appearance on the series and she's game. The news came just after a month that it was rumored that the One Direction member may guest star as well.
"Ryan Murphy really wants Taylor Swift to be a part of it," a source revealed. "And now that she has some time on her hands with no tour obligations, she is considering to take a part on the show. Ryan wants to write her a character so good that she has no reason to say No."
But a Taylor Swift Harry Styles reunion on the TV show "Scream Queens" may not even be happening at all. According to Gossip Cop, a production insider denied the gossip.
It hasn't been confirmed as well whether the British boy band member will appear on "Scream Queens" season 2. But last month, a cast member expressed delight over the possibility.
"I don't know if this is true, but he said at a press thing recently that he is talking to a male pop star to come for next year," Lea Michele exclaimed to InStyle in December. "If it's Harry Styles, everybody better calm down. I love One Direction. Everybody knows this."
While the former "Glee" star has been vocal about wanting Harry Styles on the TV show, its co-creator Ryan Murphy's love for Taylor Swift has been obvious as well throughout season 1 of the series. Aside from featuring a deaf version of the pop star, an episode also spoofed the singer's gift-giving video. He also offered her a spot on the show last season.
"I actually called her people about her for this, but she had already booked a tour, and I said, just do one episode, but she couldn't even do that. But someday, because I'm a big fan," Murphy said last June.
