Benedict Cumberbatch who was highly appreciated for his role in ''The Imitation Game'' is now geared up for his role as Stephen Strange / Doctor Strange in the upcoming Marvel movie ''Doctor Strange.''

Since Marvel is known for producing box office buster movies, the audience can expect Benedict doing extremely well in 2016 too.

The English actor Cumberbatch posed for the Entertainment Weekly's cover page. JustJared reported this entertaining news with some nice pictures.  

''The Imitation Game'' is a movie which was appreciated by fans and movie critics at the same time. It won many awards and scooped up $227.8 million USD in the box office.

This movie is a 2014 American historical drama thriller film directed by Morten Tyldum. It is loosely based on the biography ''Alan Turing: The Enigma.'' The original biography was written by Andrew Hodges.

''The Imitation Game'' stars Benedict Cumberbatch as real-life British cryptanalyst Alan Turing. Alan during World War II decrypted German intelligence codes. He was serving for the British government. Keira Knightley played the role of Joan Clarke.

The Weinstein Company acquired the film for $7 million in Feb. 2014, the highest amount ever paid for U.S. distribution rights at the European Film Market. It was released theatrically in the United Kingdom on Nov. 14, 2014 and the United States on Nov. 28, 2014.

''The Imitation Game'' was nominated in eight categories at the 87th Academy Awards. It included Best Picture, Best Director (Morten Tyldum), Best Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch), and Best Supporting Actress (Keira Knightley). It won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

It picked up five nominations in the 72nd Golden Globe Awards. ''The Imitation Game'' was nominated in three categories at the 21st Screen Actors Guild Awards. It won the People's Choice Award at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival. The entire list of awards can be checked on Wikipedia.

IBDb gave the movie a rating of 8.1/10. Evening Standard was full of praises for this movie and appreciated the work of Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley.
