"Dancing with the Stars" will return for its 22nd season this March on ABC. Even though the upcoming season is just a couple of months away, the final list of contestants is yet to be revealed.
But speculations about the possible contestants are already buzzing as celebrities and popular personalities are already expressing their interest in the popular dancing contest.
Before the rumors, it's already confirmed that Len Goodman will be returning as the judge for the upcoming season according to TV Line. Len Goodman was part of the show since its initial season until season 20 although he has to leave the show for its 21st season due to scheduling conflicts with UK's "Strictly Come Dancing" and his new grandson.
His tough but equally constructive criticisms were missed in the previous season and his presence will once again push the contestants to do better every week.
One name is constantly popping up as a contestant: Rashad Jennings. The New York Giants running back gave a statement last December to TMZ where he revealed that "he's been in contact with the honchos over at 'DWTS' and is confident he'll be the next big NFL star to jitterbug, waltz, and samba on TV."
If he has been talking with the show's producers, there is a big chance that he will be part of the show once it starts this spring.
Another celebrity rumored to be part of season 22 is Bindi's little brother, Robert. Robert "Bob" Irwin is an 11-year-old animal lover just like her big sister. Nine MSN reported that producers already got in touch with Bob if he would be interested in taking part in the show.
As various celebrities are rumored to be part of the show, another well-known name in "DWTS" could be on his way out. E Online reported that Derek Hough could be leaving the show although he is still mulling over the possibility of going back for one more shot for the Mirror Ball trophy.
