Idina Menzel has just confirmed that "Frozen 2", the sequel to one of Disney's highly successful film, is in the works!

Menzel, who voiced the lead character Elsa in the animation, might have let the news slip when she was asked by The Telegraph about rumors of a possible follow-up to "Frozen".

"They're all in the works, " she confirmed.

Menzel was also asked if she would be involved with the planned Broadway production of "Frozen".

"Not the stage show. I don't know what will happen with that - but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride."

It's possible that the actress was merely referring to the animated short, which she would already have signed on for, but she did use the words "movie" so a sequel is definitely not yet off the table.  You would think people would get tired of wondering about a "Frozen 2" already, but we can't, unfortunately, just "Let It Go" still!

And speaking of the immensely popular track, Menzel shared that she had a "hard time" hitting the song's high notes!

"I can't give any tips on how to sing 'Let It Go' because I barely can sing it sometimes. It's really hard. I can't wake up in the morning and just sing it.

"I guess my advice is that everyone who likes to sing it should sing it loud and proud and karaoke it out - sing it in the shower, sing it in the car and don't worry about hitting the high notes."

This weekend marks the first year anniversary of the release of "Frozen". It's not surprising that Disney wanted to produce "Frozen 2". For starters, it remains the highest-grossing animated movie of all time... of all time! And even a year after its release, Frozen dolls, inspired by sisters Anna and Elsa, were still outselling Barbie. That is huge news, and speaks to the staying power of the characters introduced in the original movie.
