"The Sims 4" jealousy trait may be one of the more realistic characteristics Sims can have but a new DLC patch has made the game more current.

Before the jealousy trait first made it's appearance in "The Sims 4" last year, Sims could easily cheat on their partners as long as they weren't looking.

However, Inquisitr reported that developers changed the way the Sims react to cheating with a very human-like reaction that has varying degrees of jealousy.

"Sims may be a little jealous if their boyfriend or girlfriend chats up another Sim in a flirtatious manner, or a Sim can start a fight if their companion is caught kissing another Sim," the site revealed.

A recently released patch, Patch 1.14.49.1020, did not only improve the gameplay and design but it even took care of making sure that the Sims behaved properly. The game is now almost lifelike and it's about time that things like the jealousy trait in "The Sims 4" appear.

Vine Report noted that the patch update targeted the Sims behavior when there were guests visiting their houses. It is now more difficult to start fights without any consequences or reactions that will follow.

"We have modified the way in which Sims react to those acting inappropriately in their neighbors' homes," stated the patch notes. "Beware, for you might find your Sim asked to leave if they get out of line."

In other news, new downloadable content has been made available and is dubbed as the "Netflix and Chill" patch.

Not only are there new elements added in the Create-A-Sim and Build Mode, but there are even 10 original Sims films that can be watched by the characters in the game. They not only enjoy the films but they also react to the film's genre accordingly.
