Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are apparently making their rumored soon-to-be wedding a secret from the news because of Tom Cruise.

According to The Sun, the "All We Had" actress-director wanted to keep her apparent relationship with the "Django Unchained" actor under wraps for fears that the "Mission: Impossible" actor will disrupt it all when he found out.

But in a report on Celeb Dirty Laundry, it was mentioned that her ex-husband has reportedly already given them his blessing. The "Edge of Tomorrow" actor apparently was convinced about the Foxx-Holmes union after the latter told him it was serious and that their daughter Suri Cruise got along really well with the Oscar-winner.

As reported by OK! Magazine, a spring wedding was purportedly underway for Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx but they're keeping the news away from the media.

"They're making big plans: moving in, marrying and starting a family of their own," a source said as cited by Gossip Cop. "Jamie and Katie plan to wed on the grounds of Jamie's 17,000-square-foot Hidden Hills, California estate, where they'll also live after getting hitched."

But in the end, Gossip Cop dispelled the rumor citing that the "Dawson's Creek" actress' rep called it "ridiculous."

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have long been denying the news that there was something romantic going on between them.

"Oh come on, you guys have been trying to get that to stick for three years," Foxx insisted in 2015 to E! News. "Just friends."

Recently, the "Disturbing Behavior" actress was also asked about dating but was mum.

"That's not something I want to answer," she told More magazine about dating as cited by Entertainment Tonight"[I don't] have a five or 10-year plan. I feel like I'm still a teenager in a lot of ways. I do a lot of things I did then. I paint, I color. I cook sometimes. I still feel like a girl."
