"Frozen 2"could finally give one major character her true love's kiss!
In the original movie, Anna thought that her one true love, Prince Hans, could save her from completely turning to ice. However, Prince Hans' scheming ways made it clear that a kiss won't do just that. At the end, Anna's sacrficial love for Elsa proved to be the purest kind of love which eventually melted the ice and Elsa's icy heart.
In the sequel, fans could finally get to see a true love's kiss. Rumor has it that it is now Elsa's turn to find her one true love.
"Others say that Elsa might finally find her true love in the second installment of the franchise," Ecumenical News added. "They are fervently hoping that 'Frozen 2' might actually see an iconic Disney trope - the true love's kiss."
Apart from Elsa, Olaf will reportedly have someone of his own too.
"It has to happen. Not only for the plot, but for the merchandise," The Telegraph said. "Olaf is one of the most beloved Disney sidekicks ever created, and with Anna and Kristoff romantically entangled, and Elsa happy ruling her kingdom and getting to grips with her ice powers, blossoming romance is in Olaf's court."
"Frozen 2" plot, cast and release date rumors are almost certain that a female snowman will be added to the cast.
"Josh Gad, the man behind Olaf's voice said that there would be a female counterpart to the jolly and positive snowman," Lawyer Herald claimed. "Josh Gad stated that her name will most likely sound like Eliana. However, Disney made no comment about this and sent no confirmation."
Previous "Frozen 2" plot, cast and release date reports claimed that the highly-anticipated sequel could take years before it finally debuts on the big screen. While no official word has been given, speculations are suggesting a 2018 release date.
"We're not demanding speed, We're demanding excellence," Disney CEO Bob Iger said.
