Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are reportedly planning a secret wedding in Spring, but it looks like Katie's ex-husband, Tom Cruise, will not let that happen.
According to some reports, Katie is reportedly scared to make the jump with her new beau because she is "terrified of how her ex-husband will react to her moving on to a new life with another man," In Touch claimed as reported by Gossip Cop. Apart from her fear of Tom's reaction, Katie is also worried that he might "come crashing back into her and Suri's lives, take her to court to get more custody and try to sway Suri over to Scientology."
Good thing, the site also debunked the rumors and claimed that the rumors are fabricated. The article also claimed that news about Katie and Jamie's secret wedding are not true.
It was previously reported that the rumored couple has already announced their plans to get married to their "inner circle," and has respectfully informed Katie's ex-husband about their decision.
However, sources claimed that it was not all good with Tom the first time.
"Someone close to Tom revealed the actor was 'irritated that Jamie didn't ask him [if he could marry Katie] first,'" Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. "Apparently, Tom got over the irritation when Katie guaranteed Tom that the relationship with Jamie is the real deal. Jamie has reportedly bonded with Suri and all is right with the world. And Tom has given Katie and Foxx his blessing to wed!"
Rumors have been circulating that the reason why Katie and Jamie are rushing to get married is because the actress is already pregnant.
