TV star Rachel Bilson and former "Star Wars" actor Hayden Christensen have revealed why they named their daughter Briar Rose.
According to etonline.com, Christensen admitted that his wife was a fan of the Disney film "Sleeping Beauty." There is a Disney reference there," he admitted. "The original Sleeping Beauty was called Briar Rose."
"We both love all things Disney, but Rachel especially was very keen on the name," shared the actor who once played Anakin Skywalker in George Lucas' prequels.
The celebrity couple has tried to keep Briar Rose's life private but recently Bilson has posted photos of their baby girl on her Instagram account In an interview, Christensen shared how happy he is to have a baby with Bilson.
"I have this little angel in my life now and Rachel and I are so thrilled. We don't sleep as much as we used to, but it's all so worth it."
Christensen opened up on why he stayed away from the Hollywood spotlight after doing the "Star Wars" films as per cinemablend.com.
"I felt like I had this great thing in 'Star Wars' that provided all these opportunities and gave me a career, but it all kind of felt a little too handed to me. I didn't want to go through life feeling like I was just riding a wave," he said.
"You can't take years off and not have it affect your career," the actor added. "But I don't know - in a weird, sort of destructive way, there was something appealing about that to me. There was something in the back of my head that was like, 'If this time away is gonna be damaging to my career, then so be it. If I can come back afterward and claw my way back in, then maybe I'll feel like I earned it."
In a report by vanityfair.com, the actor gave words of advice to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" star Daisy Ridley.
"Focus on the fact that you're stoked 'cause you're doing the work that you want to do. It's literally mainly just about focusing on what makes you happy. And if losing your anonymity or whatever doesn't make you happy, then focus on something else."
