It's been seven months since Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their divorce, and the "Alias" star seems to be starting to enjoy being single.

A couple of days after the 43-year-old actress was stopped by the NYC police for a selfie, Jennifer Garner was again snapped this time while treating daughter Violet with a frozen yoghurt in Santa Monica.

"She left her long brunette hair loose and went virtually makeup free, while keeping cool in statement shades," reported Daily Mail.

"Violet, 10, looked cute in purple trainers and sunglasses as she enjoyed a cone while walking side by side with her mum."

Just a couple of days ago, Jennifer Garner was in New York while attending a few meetings when she was stopped by police officers who asked for a selfie.

"She was walking alone, just going about her day," the eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight. "The officers saw Jen and asked if she would take a photo with them, which she obliged."

The witness commented that Jennifer Garner appeared to be in a "good mood."

Jennifer Garner, indeed, has a reason to be happy despite her divorce announcement from Ben Affleck in June last year.

For one, the couple seems to have worked out their differences and committed to co-parent their three kids.

Last month, the ex-couple was spotted taking their two kids out to dinner near their home in Santa Monica.

"The group dined at Forma Cafe in Santa Monica and headed home early -- around 7:30pm," reported X17 Online. "They DID all get in the same car, though, to return to their Pacific Palisades mansion."

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their divorce a day after marking their 10th wedding anniversary. The statement read in part, "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."
