As if being a wife, a mother of six and a humanitarian is not enough, Angelina Jolie is reportedly signing-up for something huge.
According to recent reports, the actress-director has been eyed to star in Universal Picture's version of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Dubbed as the Monster Movie Universe, the reknowned studio will be making a series of remakes of notable monsters in cinema. Apart from Angie, Tom Cruise as well as Johnny Depp are also in the running to be part of Universal's MMU.
"First they get Tom Cruise to kick-start the project with a Mummy reboot and now, reports have confirmed that they've signed on Johnny Depp to play The Invisible Man," International Business Times reported. "And it doesn't stop there...if earlier rumours are to be believed, this universe could get even more A-list talent as there's a strong chance Academy Award-winner Angelina Jolie will eventually join them as the Bride Of Frankenstein."
Universal's MMU will kick-off with the "Mummy" reboot on Jun. 9, 2017.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Pitt is reportedly looking at a new directorial project. According to previous reports, the "Unbreakable" director is looking at the possibility of making a Rene Angelil biopic, in honor of Celine Dion's late husband and manager.
"An alleged insider divulged that Angie is fascinated by Dion's 'rags-to-riches journey' and finds it incredibly inspiring yet heartbreaking at the same time," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. "Angelina is purportedly anxious to meet with Celine to hear what some have called the greatest love story ever. But for now, Jolie is reportedly putting out feelers and letting 'the right people' know she's interested."
"Angelina knows that now isn't the right time to approach Celine who lost both her husband and brother Daniel Dion just two days apart," the article continued.
