Fans have been highly anticipating "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date but most of the news that has been circulating are either rumors or speculations, according to Master Herald.

Rockstar Games is known as one of the most prominent developers in the industry. Fans seem to be disappointed lately because the focus seems to be on "GTA" and not so much on other franchises like, "Red Dead."

Fans have continuously tried to get information, updates and also guess what the studio might be planning for "Red Dead Redemption 2" but now, people are just assuming that the company has decided to focus on "GTA."

Others refused to believe that Rockstar would just forget one of their most original products. Recent rumors have it, that the developer may officially reveal the game at this year's E3.

Should the second installment be revealed at the event, it does not necessarily mean that the game itself will follow quickly.

The 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in June. Fans from all over the world continue to anticipate "Red Dead Redemption 2's" release date, revealed MNR.

Meanwhile, "Red Dead Redemption" was briefly playable on the Xbox One but was shut down Sunday.

"Microsoft tests all Xbox 360 games with our emulator to ensure a quality experience across a breadth of titles," explained Xbox Live's director of programming, Larry Hyrb. "Due to an error, some of the games currently in test were accidentally made available."

Hyrb apologized for the confusion and fluke on Reddit. The mishap also included other games, which were playable for a day on Xbox One. This includes "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night," "Tekken Tag Tournament 2" and "Halo Wars."

"We have since removed access to those games and apologize for any confusion this may have caused," said Hyrb. "We will have more information on upcoming releases soon."

The titles were forced to accept an update that's not available and access was removed. Files downloaded by the player will remain on the user's Xbox One and if the console is offline, the files will still be playable, reported Polygon.
