It's over for One Direction member Harry Styles as he chose to separate ways with his co-Directioners. After the announcement last year of the band's long hiatus, Styles is moving on from his One Direction history to create a new one, a solo recording contract with a different management.
The band first split when former member Zayn Malik made his announcement on going separate ways with Harry, Niall, Liam and Louis. Fans were shocked, disappointed and were in denial after Malik made the announcement. Despite the split, One Direction continued to make music with only four of them left in the band.
But almost a year after what seemed to be the first and last they'll hurt their fans, Harry Styles might be doing it again in his decision to go solo. According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Styles signed up as a solo artist to Creative Artists Agency and will be managed by Jeffrey Azoff.
On the other hand, his former management Modest Management who manages One Direction, only wished Styles the best of his recent career move, the report added.
"We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him...Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him. We look forward to sharing some great wine with them next time we are in L.A."
According to a report by Christian Today, Styles is finished with One Direction and already wants to disconnect himself from the band. It was said that Styles wanted to create a new start by becoming a solo artist.
But the report also noted that a source said plans didn't change regarding the year-long hiatus status for the boyband and that its members will reveal everything at the right time.
The breaking news probably shocked a lot of Directioners, but one thing is for sure, they are all hopeful that one day, the band will be back together, for the meantime, in a single performance or as One Direction themselves just like how they first started.
