Ghosts plaguing the next "Star Wars" installment? "Episode 8" begins filming, does this mean Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor are back on the set?

There have been many speculations about the characters returning for the next "Star Wars" installment. Previous reports have pointed out the return of actor Hayden Christensen to "Episode 8" although his manner of return has been debated for quite some time.

According to a report by MakingStarWars, "A team in the U.K. are soon heading to the U.S. to begin training Hayden Christensen for a 'Star Wars: Episode VIII' appearance of some sort." This great news could also be confusing for "Star Wars" fans especially since the death of Hayden Christensen's character occurred way back in 1983 in "The Return of the Jedi."

There were speculations that Hayden Christensen could indeed return to "Episode 8" but the next "Star Wars" installment would bring the once Darth Vader back into the ghost of the powerful Anakin Skywalker.

Now, the next "Star Wars" installment rumors have revealed that another classic character will return to "Episode 8" and it is said that Ewan McGregor will return to the franchise. AttackoftheFanBoy reported the possibility of Ewan McGregor's return to "Episode 8" as Obi Wan Kenobi, whose character was also seen in "The Return of the Jedi" together will the other perished Jedis including Hayden Christensen's character.

According to the report, Ewan McGregor's return to "Star Wars" as Obi Wan Kenobi isn't a far flung idea, "This rumor is not ludicrous since McGregor already had a cameo in 'Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens.' His voice could be heard when Rey was getting visions by holding Anakin/Luke Skywalker's old lightsaber."

So does this mean the next "Star Wars" installment will indeed by flooded by ghost-like Jedis for the characters of Hayden Christensen and Ewan Mcgregor as Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi, respectively?

A report by IGN has revealed that "Episode 8" has already begun filming. Will fans get a glimpse of both Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen within "Star Wars" set? What does the classic characters' return mean for the "Star Wars" franchise and the coming installments? Care to share your thoughts?
