After an alleged exchange of shady social media messages at the start of 2016, ex-lovers Becky G and Austin Mahone seemed to be moving farther away from each other. Mahone was even rumored to a list of girlfriends.
But does Becky G still hope that they'd be back someday? In a recent interview with Latina Magazine, for their March 2016 issue, Becky G opened up about her ex-boyfriend.
"We both really cared about each other, but we had to decide if we were going to stay in this until the wheels fall off and we hate each other, or if we're going to put our friendship first," Becky G told Latina Magazine.
"We both knew what was coming in our careers and that we just have to press pause, for now." Pressed a little on that last point, she just reiterates, with a little smile, "Yeah. Keyword: pause."
These words seem to mean a lot, coming from Becky G. And from the looks of it, it's not over for the Latina pop star. However, unfortunately, Austin Mahone is reported to have a new addition to the list of rumored girlfriends and it was very evident on his Instagram. The girl was revealed to be fitness model Katya Henry.
Recently, the pop singer posted on Instagram a list of photos of him and Henry going on a private movie date and at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, according to Just Jared.
"When you let go of it, you've got to let go," she says. "As tough a pill as it is to swallow if he finds happiness in another person, then it just is what it is," Becky G told Latina.
Looks like Becky G is still affected when there are rumored girlfriends linked to his ex. But the young pop star is dealing with it as maturely as possible.
