One of the most loved and popular animes of 2015, "Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma" is set to return streaming it's one of a kind animation-style and humorous cooking battle in a not so distant feature.
In its report, When Will.net confirmed that JC Staff Studio has formally renewed the series for a second season that might get a release date this year. Excited?
What's more, before 2015 ends, the official website of the anime adaptation "Shokugeki no Soma" began streaming a promotional video for the anime's highly anticipated second season, which introduces the characters that assume a pivotal role in the story.
After such, vast majority of the fans can barely wait to finally see what the season 2 will resemble and what plot from its manga counterpart will it be based into.
In any case, would it still showcase an intense and more thrilling "Shokugeki" duel? Not to mention on how it will be influenced by the events of season 1.
Needless to say, it seems to be so as most recent spoilers concerning its plot have revealed that "Shokugeki no Soma" season 2 will cover the Stagiaire Arc plot in its manga counterpart.
The Stagiaire Arc focuses on the Stagiaire event held by the Totsuki Culinary Academy, directly after the 43rd annual Totsuki Autumn Election tournament where the season 1 ended.
According to International Business Times, the series protagonist, Soma, is set to explore and learn to prepare an even more astonishing and tasty food - as he will apparently be sent to various parts of the country where they will work with various classifications in the food industry.
If the reports are to be believed, Soma is undeniably one of the 294 out of the 504 92nd Generation Student who successfully passed the Stagiaire event.
Upon its arrival to the Polar Star Dormitory, "Shokugeki no Soma" Wikia, noted that Soma discovers that he apparently gotten numerous Shokugeki challenges, one of which is from Tetsuji Kabutoyama, a member of the Skewer RS - in which Soma then accepted all challenges he has received thus far.
With that being said, the upcoming "Shokugeki no Soma" season 2 will definitely showcase an all-new breathtaking and mind boggling duels between the series' top-notch characters.
