Things are about to get more crowded in the new TV series coming in town dubbed "A Series Of Unfortunate Events," as Netflix beefs up casting crew with its newly cast key characters - two Baudelaire children.

Netflix's "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" is an episodic telling of the popular series of 13 children's novel by the author Daniel Handler. The story centers on three kin - Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire who carries on with a turbulent life after their parents perish in a baffling and tragic fire.

Given the fact that the projects near production soon, Netflix announced that the series has now cast two key characters - Violet and Klaus, as noted by Entertainment Weekly.

Hold up thy emotions! As it has been revealed that the "Supergirl" actress, Malina Weissman, will play Violet - the eldest child, prestigious for her cleverness and inventions, while a newcomer, Louis Hynes, will play Klaus - the middle tyke and a devoted book lover.

Every good TV series needs a good villain. Thus, the series has previously cast, as noted by We Got This Covered, actor Neil Patrick Harris to slay the villainous role of Count Olaf, which is set to give more difficulties in the lives of the three Baudelaires' orphan.

After the Baudelaires' parent's sudden demise, the children were apparently put in the care of their relative, Count Olaf, who endeavors to steal their inheritance. In its book counterpart, Olaf's plan to steal the Baudelaires' fortune, unfortunately, comes up short. Hence, it prompted the villain to doggedly chase the children down which brings the death of several characters.

As of this writing, other substantial details are being kept under wraps although it has already been reported that Barry Sonnenfeld will be in Netflix's "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" director's chair.

The book series was also been adapted into a movie back in 2004 starring Liam Aiken, Emily Browning, and Jim Carrey - which received mixed critical response and earned $209.1 million at the domestic box office.

Excited? Stay tuned for more news and updates especially now that Netflix has yet to announce a release window for the new TV series in town.
