This year seems to break the spell of bad luck for Ryan Reynolds. First his movie ''Deadpool'' broke all the box office records and then he is being considered for a sequel of ''Deadpool.'' His upcoming movie ''Criminal'' is expected to do well in the box-office too.

''Criminal'' is being directed by Ariel Vromen and it is expected to be released on Apr. 15, 2016. This American-British action thriller is written by Douglas Cook and David Weisberg. It will be distributed by Summit Entertainment.

The principal photography of this upcoming movie began on Sep. 4, 2014, in London. More details were updated by Screen Daily. Kevin Costner (as Jericho Stewart), Gary Oldman, Tommy Lee Jones, Alice Eve, Gal Gadot (as Jill Pope) and Ryan Reynolds (as Bill Pope) are the main cast of this movie. Hollywood reporter reported way back in Sep. 2014 about the cast and plot of this movie. IMDb has the complete information about the cast of this movie.

The plot revolves around a dangerous prison inmate (played by Costner) who is implanted with something in his brain which is not normal. The authorities were trying to stop a diabolical plot, and ended up implanting the prison inmate with the memories, personality and skills of a dead CIA operative.

The trailer of this movie was uploaded sometime back on YouTube. Teaser-trailer has uploaded a few more snippets of the movie which will increase the interest of the movie-goers. Rotten tomatoes has mentioned that 95% people want to watch this movie.

Movie insider has few more details about the plot. So with a budget of $31.5 million, will this movie be able to do well in the box-office? Cinemablend had a humorous aspect of the movie, body-switch and they think that Ryan Reynolds should win that award. Fans remember about his 2011 movie ''The Change-Up'' where his body and soul were swapped with his best friend. His 2015 movie ''Self/less'' was based on a similar theory but that involved medical procedure, not just peeing in a fountain.

Reynolds was appreciated for his first red-carpet appearance with his wife Blake Lively for the opening of ''Deadpool.'' So will this year turn out to be lucky for this colorful actor? Watch this space for more.
