Fans have been hearing a lot on possible collaboration of Kendrick Lamar, Drake and J. Cole. Some claims the three would be working together, while others say only two from these names are actually willing to collaborate. Will it be Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, Drake and J. Cole, or Lamar, Drake and J. Cole all working together?

It was August last year when Timbaland posted in Instagram on what seemed to be like a teaser regarding a Lamar-Drake-J. Cole album which he claimed would be produced by Timbaland himself, 40, Pharell, Dr. Dre and Kanye West. But according to a report by Complex, the probability for the production of this album is very low.

For a couple of years now, rumors and hints regarding a Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole album collaboration have repeatedly been talked about but nothing materialized. According to Vine Report, the album's progress is currently on a delay due to new developments. But fans seem to speculate that something is hindering its further development.

According to Youth Heath Mag, J. Cole will be having a summer tour with Drake which could also be one of the reasons why his album with Kendrick Lamar hasn't pushed through lately.

Ecumenical News pointed another reason. In its report, it stated that collaboration of both musicians might not be a good idea as they are still individual artists with different takes on music. Although both of their music styles are almost alike, merging might not be a good choice for both of them.

From these reports and point of views, will the collaboration of the three artists likely to push through? Will it be the three of them in a single album, or only two in case one of them speak up and only choose the other?

Is it really not going to happen? Fans could only be waiting a few months to discover.
