There are rumors that the "One Punch Man" anime season 2 release date may happen after two years.

Christian Post reported that fans may wait for quite some time before the "One Punch Man" anime season 2 release date arrives. There are speculations that the second season will come in two years.

The publication noted that, earlier this month, several media outlets have reported that the "One Punch Man" anime season 2 release date may come before 2016 ends if everything goes well in the production process.

Otakukart  speculated that it would take one to two years for the animators to create all the necessary sketches and inks for the upcoming "One Punch Man" anime season 2.

The website even quipped that Yusuke Murata's team would need to develop 100 sketches, 100 inked pages, 100 storyboards, and 10 hours of editing per day. This is in reference to Saitama's strength training.

It was previously reported that the "One Punch Man" anime season 2 release date will be December of this year. Moreover, animators of the series have a lot to work with since the manga still has story arcs waiting to be adapted.

Last December, "One Punch Man" anime creator Yusuke Murata took to Twitter to announce that he is hard at work in making season 2 happen.

Garou is said to be the main villain in "One Punch Man" anime season 2. Garou is a former disciple of Bang, or Silver Fang. He is viewed as a Mysterious Being by the Hero Association and was given the name "Human Monster."

There are rumors that Amai Mask will go to the dark side as well. In line with this, Vine Report noted that Amai Mask will have a fight with the Hero Association "to seek revenge for the destroyed city."

Furthermore, "One Punch Man" anime season 2 is rumored to have more than 12 episodes.
