After the hype on the thought that the Apple Watch 2 would show up this March, it appears that the giant company might have not such a happy update to follow as far as its release date is a concern.

If rumor and reports are to be believed, then sorry fans! As the all new improved Apple Watch 2 with overhauled internals and a FaceTime camera will not come this March 2016 event.

A not-so-good-news from Mac World UK noted that the release date of the second-generation Apple Watch has lamentably been pushed back until September 2016 and is said to be launched alongside the iPhone 7.

"The March event instead focused on the iPhone 6c (or iPhone 5se) along with the iPad Air 3," the report revealed. "The Apple event will be taking place on Tuesday, 15 March 2016."

Several rumors speculated that the big company needs to stay true to its yearly release cycle that explains the real reason behind Apple Watch 2 delay.

However, this doesn't prevent Apple from giving great delight to its fans in the upcoming March event, as an anonymous source told 9to5 Mac that in lieu of propelling the Apple Watch 2, a redesigned Watch model with newer colored straps and software will be launch.

"As for the new line of Apple Watch models, we are told that the update will include multiple new colors for the rubber Sports Bands," the report revealed. "Additional colors for the line of Hermes bands, a black version of the Milanese Loop, and an additional band line made out of a new material."

In spite of that fact that there is no solid release date slated for Apple Watch 2, there are several rumors claiming that the new device might just have a slightly enhanced form of a FaceTime camera, N4BB reported.

Needless to say, it seems that aficionados might likely wait a little longer especially that as of press time, Apple has yet commented on the said reports.

In any case, rumors and speculations swirling around Apple Watch 2 should be taken with a grain of salt.
