One of the most popular PC games ever created is "The World of Warcraft." Most of today's grown-ups has had their share of experience with "Warcraft", and presently, the hit game still continues to influence the younger generation. A larger audience will be expected due to its upcoming movie this June.
According to Cross Map, Duncan Jones, when asked about other details from the movie, said that a possibility for a sequel is most likely to happen. He also provided information on how the plot will go along the movie and that introducing first the characters unknown to non-players would be a good move.
"From the moment I first talked to Blizzard, the plan was to start our film with the first time Orcs met Humans. First contact! I think that for a world with so much newness to explain, this was a wise choice, especially when so many people in our audience may not know anything about Warcraft... it was important that some of our characters would be seeing the world fresh as well, and that the audience could see the situation through their eyes."
Others might be expecting that the movie will revolve around a battle between human and orcs, but Jones clarified on where the plot will be going in this movie.
"A Warcraft film should not be about a good race of humans battling an evil race of Orcs! Warcraft should be about heroes on both sides trying to avoid a conflict, when villains leave them no choice."
In a previous Cross Map report, Jones mentioned about the characters who will be included in the first movie.
"Our story takes place at a very particular moment in the lore time-line. There are some new charaters, and some that already existed, but who may not be that well known," he explained.
The forthcoming movie will be collaborating with Legendary Pictures and Universal Studios and will be hitting the theaters by June 10, 2016.
