"Hands to Myself" hitmaker Selena Gomez definitely has a type when it comes to dating men and choosing boyfriends, although the pretty actress is quite embarrassed about it.

In an interview with Nick Grimshaw on Radio One, as shared by Mirror, Selena Gomez revealed that she dreamed of having Jesse McCartney as a boyfriend back when she was young.

"He was my entire world, he was my screensaver, I thought I was going to marry him," she said.

Then the DJ asked Selena Gomez if she's into "those blonde, sort of bowl, greasy hair do things?"

The Come & Get It" singer had to laugh and exclaim, "I guess so! I mean, given my track record as well."

Jesse McCartney is most popular for his character as JR Chandler in the defunct sitcom "All My Children," but really couldn't get his TV career going. He also appeared in other shows like "Summerland" and the "Strange Legacy of Cameron Cruz."

For a time, Jesse McCartney sported the blonde, bowl haircut back in mid 2000.

But the famous boy with greasy bowl cut that Selena Gomez actually dated was former boyfriend Justin Bieber. The couple had an on-and-off relationship before finally calling it quits in 2014.

Late last year, however, they were rumored to be getting back together after going out on what seemed like a date and Bieber was even snapped singing his hit song, "Sorry," to his ex-girlfriend.

Nevertheless, Selena Gomez is reportedly now has a new boyfriend in Samuel Krost, a sales exec from New York. Although he doesn't sport a bowl cut, he does apply some grease on his hair as shown by several pictures of Gigi Hadid's BFF.

So what does Selena Gomez look for in a boyfriend?

According to Hollywood Life, after allegedly talking to a source, the 23-year-old is really attracted to "bad boy" types.

"She wants to be the one who changes him because she is a very emotional person and wants to work out her emotions by making the guy she is with better," the alleged source added.
