Fans continue to highly anticipate "GTA 6" and its release date and since the series' fifth edition has been released, diehard followers have been reportedly talking about changes and feature wishlist, according to N4BB.
"Grand Theft Auto's" fifth edition sold a total of $800 million during its first day and garnered one billion dollars in the next two days. In history, this makes the gaming series the fastest selling video game.
The rumored feature wishlist is said to include aerial missions, more choices when it comes to weapons and a woman protagonist as lead. In the next edition, fans reportedly want to see a woman as the main character and actress Eva Mendes, is on top of the list and she is to be accompanied by a male character. That would be her real life boyfriend Ryan Gosling, who is a well-known actor as well, revealed Yibada.
Gosling has been featured in films such as "The Notebook," "The Ides of March" and the television series, "Young Hercules." Co-author of "Grand Theft Auto" series Dan Houser, reportedly felt that a female lead for the fifth installment did not feel natural. On the other hand, he did not throw the idea of a female lead out the window as well. It is said that Rockstar Games, already had the concept of a woman as the main character but has just not implemented it yet.
Other than "GTA 6's" release date, another rumor circulating the internet is about the upcoming game's location. It will still be in a city in the United States but the exact place will be part of a riddle. Rumors have it, that the sixth edition will feature a map and this will lead players through many major cities in America. Also, some fans are rumored to be requesting for a 70s comeback, reported Neurogadget.
The video game's fan base is said to be expecting enhanced graphics and game elements as well.
"GTA 6's" release date has yet to be announced by Rockstar Games. Until such time, all information circulating the net, are most likely rumors and or speculations.
Tech Analysts said, based on "Grand Theft Auto's" release strategy history, the upcoming installment may be out by 2018 to 2020, given that Rockstar has followed a five to eight year interval between its release dates.
