Is Katy Perry back to her ex John Mayer or is she contemplating to be with Orlando Bloom?
The relationship status of Katy Perry has always been a topic of discussion. Be it her marriage to Russell Brand which happened in a Hindu Ceremony in Rajasthan, India or be it her divorce with him. The ceremonious wedding took place on Oct. 23, 2010 and just after 14 months of marriage, Brand announced their divorce.
Perry's success and reluctance to have children immediately was the main reason behind the divorce. The Indian newspaper Times of India captured the details of the wedding. USA today reported in Dec. 2011 that Brand filed for divorce. "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends,'' stated Brand who had gifted his newly wedded wife a Tigress as a wedding gift in India.
After the painful divorce which had left many scars on Perry she took some time to recover. International Business Times even had reported that Perry had thought about committing suicide after her split from Brand. Possibly the scars were so deep that she could not settle down with anyone after that.
Even though she started dating John Mayer in 2013, if the rumors are to be believed, the relationship did not work out. Billboard talked about Mayer dedicating a song to Perry in his "Born and Raised World Tour,'' however, somewhere the relationship fizzled out.
Even though Mail online reported in Sep 2015 that Mayer and Perry were back together, they were not spotted together much. They were spotted together in Jan 2016 and the hollywoodgossip captured the pictures, however, the rumors of their split were doing the rounds already.
Many tabloids talked about the duo coming back together, however the rumors of this ''Prism'' famed singer dating Orlando Bloom cropped up all the time. The tabloids were full of stories of Perry being torn between Bloom and Mayer for the last few months.
Her hectic work schedule and her upcoming new album 2016 have kept this winner of people's choice awards very busy. Perry's love for India and her devotion for Lord Ganesha is known to everyone. She is even planning for a world tour which will include India after launching her new album.
