Characters from George R.R. Martin's "Winds of Winter" book will speak Dothraki.
According to WinterIsComing.net, "Game of Thrones" language expert David J. Peterson recently took to Reddit for an AMA discussion. He talked about the Dothraki language and how it is developed in the show.
"I mean right now Dothraki has 4,000 words," Peterson wrote. "A language like English has hundreds of thousands. Even a language that has had little contact with the outside world will have upwards of a hundred thousand words."
The "Game of Thrones" language expert revealed that it would take a lot of years to build an entire language with hundreds of thousands of words.
"I'll be happy if Dothraki and Valyrian each get 10,000 words before I'm dead," he confessed.
In 2013, Peterson commented that he helped George R.R. Martin translate some words for "Winds of Winter." "I think he's annoyed with me for even saying that I translated stuff for him," he revealed.
"I wouldn't be totally surprised if he doesn't use it and makes up something totally incongruous to punish me."
It was also revealed that Dothraki will be spoken in George R.R. Martin's "Winds of Winter." Peterson is credited for the development of Dothraki and Valyrian as well as the language spoken by giants.
International Business Times reported that the question on Dothraki is relevant since Daenerys Targaryen was last spotted near a Dothraki horde. The Mother of Dragons is said to be in danger in George R.R. Martin's "Winds of Winter."
According to JobsNHire, there are speculations that Jon Snow is alive in GRRM's highly-anticipated sixth book. The author has revealed that "WoW" will have a "pivotal plot development" which will not be shown in "Game of Thrones" since the character has already been killed off.
"I have decided to do it. Will you know it? I don't know," Martin said to IGN. "It is fairly obvious because it is something that involves a couple of characters, one of which is dead on the show, and not dead in the books."
