'Faker' Lee Sang Hyeok News: League of Legends Best Player Joins Twitch

'Faker' Lee Sang Hyeok's streaming broadcast hit big time the first day. Real time viewers were close to 250,000 and cumulative viewers also easily exceeded 1.15 million.

SK Telecom announced that it signed a deal with Twitch on June 6th and started global streaming. Recently, the main players except for 'Bang' Bae Joon Sik, 'Wolf' Lee Jae Wan, 'Peanut' Han Wanho, 'Hooney' joined and tried out Twitch streaming.

SK Telecom explained the background of choosing Twitch as its platform to have a large global network was to have a partner to interact with e-sports fans around the world.

Originally scheduled to start broadcasting at 11:30 pm on June 6, Sang hyeok's broadcasting started broadcasting at 11:40, which was about 10 minutes late.

At around 12:30 on July 7, 243,375 viewers watched Lee Sang-Hyeok's LOL ( League of Legends) play. Since then, it has consistently maintained between 150,000-170,000 viewers. As of 2:00 am on July 7, the cumulative number of viewers Sang Hyeok's room is 1,155,477 and the number of followers reached 177,404.

Lee Sang Hyeok, who did not use a microphone in previous streaming broadcasts, is ready to say "I will broadcast and do my best" for the newly restarted streaming viewers. Twitch prepared an English interpreter for global viewers.

Lee Sang-Hyeok, born May 7, 1996, is known by his in-game name Faker, is a South Korean professional League of Legends player. Formerly known as "GoJeonPa" on the Korean server, he was picked up by SK Telecom in 2013 and is currently the mid laner for SK Telecom T1, which competes in the League of Legends Champions Korea.

Faker is famous for his high mechanical skill at the game and is thought by many to be the best League of Legends player of all time. Faker is renowned for having mastered a huge number of characters and seemingly being able to play any character at the top level. He is best known for playing LeBlanc, Zed, Cassiopeia, Ryze and Yasuo.

He is consistently ranked number one by analysts and is often referred to as the "God" of League of Legends.
