Jennifer Lopez has officially, and legally moved on, from ex-husband Marc Anthony. The "On The Floor" singer changed her name back to Jennifer Lopez from Jennifer Muniz. JLo took Marc's last name- Muniz- when they married in 2004.
Jennifer and Marc tied the knot in June 20014, the same year she spilt her long time boyfriend Ben Affleck. After seven years of marriage, however, the couple decided to split in July 2011.
The divorce had been tough for the singer. Speaking on the HBO documentary "Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again", JLO opened up about the hardships she went through when the marriage fell apart.
"I remember being on the set and being in my dressing room and not feeling like I could get up in the morning and there's just no pain like that," the 45-year-old shared, as recounted by the Daily Mail.
"There's no pain or failure like going through a divorce. That hope, that dream, that fairytale, with that first time that dream gets blown to pieces, you feel like you're going to die.You feel like you failed. You feel like no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't make it work."
Marc and Jennffer tried very hard to make their marriage work for the sake of their children, six-year-old twins Max and Emme.
"That wasn't my dream. My dream was for us to always be together. You never want to break up family," she added.
Since the divorce, Jennifer had been trying extra hard to be a good mom to her children. The "American Idol" judge had recently been spotted spoiling her children with a toy shopping spree in Paris.
Jennifer is currently single, after ending her two-year relationship with choreographer and dancer Casper Smart, who is nearly 20 years her junior. She, however, says that she could not be any happier just spending time with her kids.
"They saved me by showing me what real love was. It changed my perspective on love completely," she shares to ET's Nischelle Turner.
