Boruto - Naruto The Movie Release Date UPDATE: It has already been confirmed that another anime film Boruto - Naruto The Movie - is in the works and will be shown on August 2015 in Japan. Now, new rumors have surfaced that the villain for this new film will be Orochimaru!
For Naruto fans, it is no secret that Orochimaru is obsessed with immortality. In the thumbnail above, it is possible that he possessed another Ninja with a unique bloodline. It is also worth noting that Orochimaru has been dying to possess an Uchiha, as he attempted to do with Sasuke in the past. Now that a new generation has arrived, could it be that he is targeting Sasuke and Sakura's daughter, Salada?
The film is part of Naruto's New Era Opening Project which includes the upcoming stage play, art exhibition, and a sequel manga mini-series for next year.
We have previously reported that Kishimoto plans to finish his current Naruto projects before moving on with a new manga. It is also unknown at the moment if Bolt's sister Himawari will have a role to play in the said film.
"I'm frantically thinking up a story for Bolt," laughs Kishimoto, "I've not even had a chance to catch my breath after finishing the series". He also answered a question which has been a topic of conversation among fans since Bolt was introduced to the series. Why exactly was Bolt called "Bolt"? According to Kishimoto, he is the "Bolt" that holds together Hinata and Naruto's relationship.
"I conceived a story in which Bolt and [Sasuke's daughter] Sarada appears," Kishimoto, who thought of Bolt's special fighting move, said.
