Looks like Ubisoft is in a lot of heat once again as the once promised "The Division" release date 2015 might be delayed indefinitely. What is their reason this time?

A source admitted to Gamereactor that the team is having difficulties executing some aspects of the game and it is not operational just yet.

"Sadly, I still think that the date is a tad bit optimistic as we still don't have a functioning game and still have massive problems making our multiplayer component work at the concept stage."

As a consolation, the source indicated what's going well for the game and the company.

"We've been given increased resources, we're hiring lots at the moment and are given a lot of help from other Ubisoft teams which is going to be needed if we are to deliver a finished game by next fall.

"At the same time both we and our publisher are incredibly happy with our game engine and Ubisoft will naturally make use of it in lots of upcoming titles."

"Working on 'The Division' is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don't want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it's ready," the developers said in another press conference.

Despite the disappointment, fans believe that the game will still come out as one of the best this 2015, and some even compare it to 2014's mega-hit, "Destiny."
