A month after its console release,"The Elder Scrolls Online" remains to garner mixed reviews from gamers.

With some calling the Xbox One and PS4 versions lackluster, many are suggesting upgrades and a better game in the anticipated "Elder Scrolls 6." Could a multiplayer option save the franchise?

"There have been many fans of the Elder Scrolls series that have longed for a multiplayer aspect for these incredible games," Movie Pilot noted.

"Elder Scrolls Online was that hope, and even though it can be a lot of fun - and Xbox One and PS4 owners are loving it - it has a lot of issues holding it back."

"I've often wondered what it'd be like to roam the lands of Skyrim with a friend by my side. Bethesda gift players such glorious freedom that Elder Scrolls Online lacked. ESO could have been something incredible if it had borrowed more than just the Tamriel-setting from the Elder Scrolls series. Multiplayer would be a welcome addition to Skyrim if we could allow for a server of players to engage with one another in that enormous world."

All eyes are on "The Elder Scrolls 6."  With little information about its release date, fans continue to speculate on the rumored new game following "Skyrim."

New reports are now saying that the new game could be set in "any of the four unexplored provinces of Tamriel," Master Herald noted.

"The continent of Tamriel has nine different provinces but the five previous installments of the game only fully explored two thus far - Skyrim and Cyrodill. The third installment also had Morrowind as a location, which also offered a glimpse of the island of Vvardenfell and the capital of Mournholod. Also explored partially in previous instalments are parts of High Rock and Hammerfell, and also Daggerfall," the article continued.

"Thus, it is likely that the setting of 'The Elder Scrolls 6' will be on the southernmost region or those four provinces of Tamriel which have not been explored yet including Summerset Isles, Valenwood, Elswyr, and Black Marsh."
