Here’s Some Aromatherapy Recipes To Boost Mental, Emotional Health

Aromatherapy is widely used nowadays as an alternative remedy for ailments and relaxation. It uses essential oils to achieve the desired effect. It is known to improve the overall health and well-being of individuals as it aims to boost the mood. It utilizes essential oils and their properties to produce an overall relaxing effect. Here are some of the cocktails for aromatherapy and their uses.

There are many areas where essential oils target. Essential oil or volatile oil which is a liquid derived through distillation by steam or water from parts of plants such as leaves, stem, flowers or roots. There are many oils used for well-being because they are known to boost the mood and produce relaxation.

For anger-reducing blend, it works by calming the system of the body down. Ingredients are 1 drop rose oil, 3 drops orange oil, and 1 drop Vetiver oil. To be able to derive the ample amount needed, multiply the number of drops by four and put it in the diffuser. Allow the essence of the oils to fill the room and deeply breathe in. This will eventually relax the body.

Whenever taking tests and you need to focus on a task, just combine 3 ounces filtered water, 10 drops peppermint oil, 10 drops rosemary oil, and 10 drops lime oil. Mix all the oils and put them in a spray bottle. Every time you need to focus, spray a little amount to your hanky and sniff the aroma. Sometimes, you can spray it in the room. Another concentration booster can be used before examinations. Just spray basil or rosemary essential oil in the hanky before the examination.

With the hustle and bustle of the urban life, stress is the number one culprit in many health illnesses. If you want to energize and remove stress, put 4 drops basil oil, 4 drops lemon oil and 2 drops rosemary oil in a bath tub and soak for about 30 minutes to feel energized.

Many are experiencing insomnia or the inability to fall asleep. This may be caused by stress or too much thinking. This insomnia cocktail includes 4 drops chamomile oil, 2 drops lavender oil, 2 drops Neroli oil and 2 drops Marjoram oil. Mix all these and add to bath water or use it as massage oil.
