Meghan Trainor New Album Arriving This 2016? Another Hit Like 'All About That Bass' Inbound?

Twenty-two year old Meghan Trainor is rumoured to be releasing her new album in 2016. As reported by media mass. Her representatives have not declared anything officially; however the rumours are very strong about this news.

It is even rumoured that Meghan Trainor will take a worldwide tour to promote her music by the end of 2017. Her official site did not report anything about either of them, though.

Meghan Elizabeth Trainor is an American singer-songwriter and record producer who came into fame with her debut album ''Title'' which was released in 2015.

Meghan started her music career when she was a teenager. Trainor wrote, recorded, performed and produced three independently-released albums between ages 15 and 17- ''I'll Sing with You'' and ''Only 17'' were her two acoustic albums. She started her songwriting career after she signed a publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music in 2011.

This debut album ''Title'' was featured as number one on the Billboard 200 and produced four top 20 singles: "All About That Bass", "Lips Are Movin", "Dear Future Husband", and "Like I'm Gonna Lose You".

Trainor dons Pop and doo-wop genres and her music has been noted for its retro style aesthetic. In her short career, she has already won an ASCAP Pop Music Award, two Billboard Music Awards, one People's Choice Award and three Grammy nominations.

On the Billboard Year-End charts for 2015, Trainor was listed seventh on Top Artists and second on Top Female Artists.

Bustle reported that within a year of the release of her first studio album, the second one is on its way. In an interview on MTV, she said, '' "It has a lot of big songs on it that I can't [wait] for the world to finally hear."

Coming from the horse's mouth, now the fans can just relax and wait for the release of the second new album for 2016. She has already lined up some of the collaborations including U.S. Virgin Islands duo, R City.
