Another Kaiju movie is coming and this time, Tom Hiddleston is starring in it. "Kong: Skull Island" is another year away and already the star is teasing updates.

It may be a while before "Kong: Skull Island" arrives but Tom Hiddleston is already eager to share updates about the upcoming Kaiju adventure film. Previous reports have already revealed that "Kong: Skull Island" will be different from earlier adaptations. Apart from having Tom Hiddleston take the lead, updates like setting of "Kong: Skull Island" has also been revealed.

Tom Hiddleston revealed in an interview with Fangoria the details of the upcoming "Kong: Skull Island," specifically the setting of the classic film. "I don't want to reveal too much, because I love surprising people, but I will tell you that it's a truly new reinterpretation of the myth," quipped the "Kong: Skull Island" star.

"The power of the original story is still the same-there's something extraordinary about Kong as a metaphor-but we place him in a new environment with different kinds of characters who relate to him in very distinct ways," added Tom Hiddleston.

In the recent years, Tom Hiddleston portrayed a variety of characters including out-of-this-world villains (Loki, "Thor" and the "Avengers" franchise), dark entity (Thomas Sharpe, "Crimson Peak") and even a country music legend (Hank Williams, "I Saw the Light"). Now, "Kong: Skull Island" updates have revealed the actor will take on another surprisingly new character as the film releases on 2017.

"There's a different kind of female protagonist, a different kind of male protagonist; my role is sort of heroic, but he's absolutely not in a profession that's recognizable from other Kong films, and neither is Brie Larson's character," revealed Tom Hiddleston in the same interview. "I can promise that you'll be excited by it, and I personally am excited by the nobility and the charisma of my part."

"Kong: Skull Island" premieres on March 2017.
