Avril Lavigne's 2016 is starting out on a very positive note. Before the end of the year, the Canadian singer revealed that she has already overcome the dreaded Lyme disease. She also had to deal with her announced separation with Nickelback's lead singer, Chad Kroeger and it also appears she is also moving on really well.

The singer was recently spotted with her ex-husband during the Pre-Grammy Awards Gala on Valentine's Day. According to Life and Style Mag, "Though they announced their separation in September, Chad Kroeger and Avril Lavigne reunited while walking the red carpet this Valentine's Day.

The former husband and wife were both guests at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala on Sunday, Feb. 14, and were not shy about posing together for photos." She even posted of photo of them together on her official Instagram account.

Her recent sightings with other music artists point to a possible 2016 album. Of course, she is just appearing with her ex-husband a music awards party but there's always the possibility that they are talking about making music together.

E Online even reported that the Lavigne is currently offering a room to her friend Ryan Cabrera. Although Ryan's reason for moving in is due to his breakup with his girlfriend, enjoying your time with another well-known musician can also lead to a music project.

The "Sk8ter Boi" singer also has announced that she is temporarily placed her foundation on hiatus. Posted on her official website,

"The Avril Lavigne Foundation is important to us all and a daily part of our lives - bringing Special Olympics athletes to my concert performances was a highlight of my tour! It is at this time that I am announcing that the Avril Lavigne Foundation will be pausing for the moment... I remain dedicated and will personally keep giving to groups bringing life-changing services to young people during the Foundation's pause."

This year would be more than just a happy note for Avril Lavigne after overcoming challenges in 2015. Going back strong with an album this year could be another feather in a cap for her already impressive career.
