American Horror Story fans listen up: Lady Gaga just confirmed she will be back for the upcoming season of AMC's horror series.

According to Vanity Fair, the popular singer confirmed her return to AHS when she guested in Z100 radio. During her interview she was asked about her recent performances that garnered praised everywhere. She was then asked about the popular horror TV series where she confirmed that she will be back.

It's no secret that series creator Ryan Murphy likes to have Lady Gaga back on American Horror Story. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the showrunner took to Twitter on Tuesday to declare his admiration for his new leading lady in the FX anthology - and ask her to return for another season." The series has been renewed for the sixth season although the premier episode has not been set as of this writing.

Although there is no information on her role yet, it is possible that she will be back to reprise her role. In season five, Lady Gaga played the role of Elizabeth Johnson or The Countess. She was a well-known resident of the Hotel Cortez but also had a very close connection with Murder House.

Since Murphy is well known for playing with the characters like a puzzle, Elizabeth's return is not just on Hotel Cortez. Perhaps a return to Murder House? That would be a very interesting plot since Elizabeth will be interacting with the first season cast.

Lady Gaga's announcement on returning to the popular TV horror series comes after her stunning performances this year. She first performed in the Super Bowl 50 with the rousing rendition of the National Anthem.

The singer again performed at the Academy Awards where she gave a heartfelt rendition of "'Till It Happens To You" to bring awareness to the sexual abuse happening around the country. The pop star performed the song surrounded by survivors of sexual abuse.
