The "Deadpool 2" movie has been given the green light and may introduce Cable in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Heroic Hollywood reported that the Merc with a Mouth made the announcement himself during the post-credits scene in the original film. Cable will finally make his debut in the upcoming "Deadpool 2" movie.

"Oh! I can tell you one thing, and it's a bit of a secret," Deadpool said. "The sequel? We're gonna have Cable. Amazing character. Bionic arm, time travel! We have no idea who we're going to cast yet, but it could be anyone. Just need a big guy with a flat top."

The Merc with a Mouth even gave suggestions on who should take on the role of Cable in the "Deadpool 2" movie. Actors such as Mel Gibson, Dolph Lundgren and Keira Knightley were mentioned by the anti-hero.

Moreover, Cable's love interest may also make her appearance in the sequel. Neena Thurman, also known as Domino, is a reformed mercenary turned X-Men member.

According to Jobs&Hire, Domino, otherwise known as Neena Thurman, is a reformed mercenary turned X-Men member. Her special ability is to manipulate luck. She is also known for her witty personality.

She was created by writer Rob Liefeld and first appeared in "X-Force" vol. 1 #11, which was released in Jun. 1992.

Meanwhile, Cinema Blend commented that Cable's physique may pose a challenge in casting the right actor for the role. The character is one of the more bulky comic book heroes, similar to Venom and Spawn. His penchant for big guns also helps emphasize his massive size.

"Deadpool" movie writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick revealed that they have already begun writing the script for the sequel. They did clarify that it may take some time before a full-blown crossover happens between the franchise and "X-Men."

'The X-Men' series is currently set in the 1980s, 'Deadpool,' is set three decades later in our present day," Reese said.
