MacBook Pro 2016 was lately launched but users have detected couple of issues. Some customers of the 15-Inch Models have discovered that the laptop mistakenly shows the wrong type of graphics card and even 3-finger trackpad gesture is not working on some of them.

15-inch MacBook Pro variants indicate they are equipped with Iris Pro 580 integrated graphics despite the fact that the model is identified with the Intel HD Graphics 530.

Some users also says that their MacBook Pro does indicate the right graphics card but incorrectly shows the device ID string.

The mismatch in the report maybe caused by a bug in the MacOS Sierra. Note that the trackpad gesture lets users to highlight text in documents and webpages easily since 2009. In fact, the feature no longer works on latest device, TechPlz reported.

Furthermore, the same report also says that the mismatched report is not showing any performance improvement one would expect from a higher end graphics card.

This issue is the second reported issue on the latest MacBook Pro. Lately, another issue has happened regarding the laptop's System Integrity Protection feature. The feature is disabled in MacBook Pro Models with the Touch Bar.

In the meantime, MacBook Air 2017 might also be equipped with two prized features - the much-desired Retina display and Apple's digital assistant Siri according to ChristianTimes.
