NBA trade rumors have been the theme for the 2014-2015 NBA season. One of the most active teams in the market, the Phoenix Suns, are on the verge of making another splash in the trading block. One of their best players from last year, Miles Plumlee, is in danger of getting shipped soon.

The Suns have been reportedly scouring the league for a quality big man. In fact, reports suggest that they are willing to move one of their three marquee point guard for a starting caliber frontcourt player. They got that wish granted when they acquired Brandan Wright from the Boston Celtics in exchange for a 2015 1st round pick.

Wright immediately fit in to the Suns roster and is currently playing stellar basketball based on a 7.4 ppg and 3.5 rpg average. However, that caused the coaching staff to increase his minutes and reduce Plumlee's. Miles is not playing as great as last year since his numbers went down from 8.1 ppg and 7.8 rpg to 4.7 ppg and 5.4 rpg.

As a result, the Suns are trying to negotiate a deal that would send Plumlee to a new team. According to ESPN.com's Marc Stein:

According to Bleacherreport, a deal would probably be best for Plumlee as well, since his role might be a better match in different surroundings. Teams targeting a backup center could use the services of the former Duke Blue Devil.

Rumor has it that the Toronto Raptors are interested in the struggling center. It is a more complicated deal as Plumlee will come along with Gerald Green in exchange for Terrence Ross, Tyler Hansbrough, or Landry Fields.
