The “Transformers” franchise has been one of the most successful and lucrative franchises of this generation. As soon as it was confirmed that a fifth installment will be in the works pretty soon, fans immediately started to wonder who the actors and actresses are going to be, Master Herald reported.
To date, there is only very little information about the upcoming “Transformers 5” that is known to the public. The subtitle has not even been in place yet. Thankfully, however, some leaks about a possible plot surfaced on the Internet.
According to Ecumenical News, the “Transformers 5” has three possible plots. First, they could be all about the mysterious beings that created the Autobots in the first place. At the end of “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” it was hinted that Optimus Prime would be making his way to outer space so he can find the beings that created his kind.
Another possible storyline might place its focus on Galvatron and the Dinobots. They were significantly mentioned in the fourth movie, or further explained at the end of the film. Fans are speculating that “Transformers 5” might feature these two elements alive.
The third possible plot is that Optimus Prime might be getting an upgrade, said Air Herald. In the latest line of toys that were inspired by the “Transformers” franchise, the mini Optimus Prime clearly got an upgrade. This sparked rumors that his bigger version in “Transformers 5” might be getting an upgrade as well.
Venture Capital Post says that Megan Fox will be back, and that she will be joined by Mark Wahlberg. “Yeah, I committed to doing a couple more,” he told MTV. “I can’t speak for Mr. Bay, but something tells me we’ll be on the set soon.”
To date, there is still no indication whether or not the actors who accompanied Wahlberg in the fourth movie, namely, Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz, will be back for the fifth movie as well, according to Realty Today.
