With "Left 4 Dead 2" released years ago, the 3rd installment "Left 4 Dead" 3 is highly anticipated by fans and critics alike. Turtle Rock Studios might not be developing the game since they are busy with the launching of team-based shooting game "Evolve."

"I think we're pretty much done with it," Phil Robb, co-founder of Turtle Rock, said. "It's Valve's thing now. We've kind of gone off in our own direction. So I'd kinda like to see something new being done with it, and Valve always does great stuff, but it'd be cool to go back to it as just a fan and not a developer. But I doubt you'll see anything from us."

However, the developer does not rule out the possibility that Valve Corp. might enlist Turtle Rock Studios to collaborate again.

"It would only be possible if Valve wanted it to be that way. It's their IP now, so they're in charge of where that goes. Left 4 Dead was very much like Evolve in that it's a game we wanted to make, it's a game that we sort of invented... A lot of people would jump at the chance to work on Left 4 Dead again in the future but... it's probably... I would say it's unlikely but not impossible," Chris Ashton, one of Turtle Rock's founders, said.

Valve Corporation will reportedly implement Source 2 Engine to "Half-Life 3." Furthermore, a leaked bpm for Valve allegedly showed the corporation's Source 2 game list for every main game directory. One of the files included "Left 4 Dead 3." Movie Pilot speculated that Valve might release the game along with "Half-Life 3" with Source 2 Engine.

"Left 4 Dead" is a cooperative first-person shooter video game. It has survival horror elements. The game was developed by Turtle Rock Studios and Valve Corporation. "Left 4 Dead" uses Valve's Source Engine and is available for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and Mac OS X.
