Former Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner was involved in a Malibu car crash last Feb. 7 that led to the death of a 69-year-old woman named Kim Howe. Jenner was driving his Cadillac Escalade while hauling an off-road vehicle on a trailer when he rear-ended two cars and caused a chain-reaction of crashes. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department is still investigating the case.
Bruce Jenner is also known for his appearance in the reality TV series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." Jenner is currently making headlines for his gender transition as well, which his mother confirmed through an interview with Associated Press. Kris Jenner also filed for divorce from the former athlete which will be finalized on Mar. 2015. She also reportedly does not want to talk about Bruce's gender transition.
However, that does not stop Kris Jenner from being there to support her soon-to-be ex-husband amidst the trial for the car crash. Bruce Jenner is allegedly struggling with depression due to the death of Kim Howe in the accident.
"Bruce is really devastated that someone died in the accident," a source from People magazine said.
"She has told him that no matter what happens next, they're going to face it as a family. Bruce has Kris's full support. She'll be there for him to lean on every step of the way," the publication added.
According to reports, Bruce Jenner will still date women even after his gender transition. The former Olympian purportedly cannot imagine himself being attracted to men. He still likes women; however, Jenner is still not sure whether the hormone treatments will change his preferences.
"He's always loved the ladies. He longs to be feminine and pretty - and also to feel the touch of another woman. Bruce wants to settle down with a woman. Whoever she is, she will be the first to love Bruce for who he really is. She'll be his one true love," a source said.
