"Tom Clancy's The Division" Xbox One and PS4 release date updates detail one of the game's PvP called the Dark Zones.

In a The Division podcast on Soundcloud, Game director Ryan Barnard dished on some important features of the new mode, and explained how it is different with other games.

"It's another one of the great ways that we're really changing up what's been done previously in this genre," he said. "We want PvP to be important. A lot of times it's hard in a mainstream game it's hard to get people...people are a little averse to it, it can be a little freaky; it's generally very competitive."

"There's this added layer of, potentially, you can be engaged at any time from another player," he added.

"So what we really want to do is bring the fun components of PvP in other games in this genre and others; try to make the mechanics more positive so you never really are punished."

Apart from the Dark Zones, "The Division" will "have a non-combat Social Hub, similar to Destiny's Tower," Gamespot revealed.

Meanwhile, fans are getting excited to know when the "Tom Clancy's The Division" Xbox One and PS4 release date will be. Many are speculating that an important announcement regarding the game's alpha or beta version will be made soon.

"As far as the gaming industry is concerned, all eyes are hovering over GDC 2015. That event is happening from March 2 to 6 of this year. Developers like Ubisoft are no stranger to announcing alphas and betas at special occasions. The possibility is open that such will be true for 'The Division,'" Design & Trend said.
