Another "American Horror Story" vet checks into the "Hotel"!

Latest official addition to the "American Horror Story" season 5 includes series veteran Sarah Paulson. Co-creator Ryan Murphy announces news on twitter, and reveals a bit of detail to her upcoming character.

In a recent tweet, co-creator Ryan Murphy announces the latest addition to the roster of actors in the upcoming "American Horror Story: Hotel" slated for an October release date. Sarah Paulson is among the few cast members that have appeared in the first season of the franchise, not missing a chapter.

In the same announcement on Twitter, Ryan Murphy says, "She's the baddest girl of them all," leading fans to wonder what character will Sarah Paulson play next, and how this reflects on Lady Gaga's "Hotel" heiress character.

According to People, Sarah Paulson shares why she's returning, and her love for the anthology series "American Horror Story." "It doesn't get stale," Paulson said. "It's a very exciting way to work. I'd love to be on a TV show for seven years, but putting on the same suit every day for seven years might piss me off. I could never have dreamed up the characters I've played on this."

In 2011, she portrayed Billie Dean Howard in "American Horror Story: Murder House" and then Lana Winters in "American Horror Story: Asylum" in 2012. She re-appeared on the third season of "American Horror Story" titled "Coven" as head of the witches (after Jessica Lange's character of course) as Cordelia Foxx. Her latest role in the "American Horror Story" franchise, "Freak Show" was the two-headed sisters, Bette and Dot Tattler.

It was initially rumored that Sarah Paulson would not return for season 5 of "American Horror Story" as she had already been announced part of the cast of another Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk collaboration in "American Crime Story" slated for a 2016 release date. However, this announcement proves her devotion to the franchise and her partnership with both the writers and the other returning cast members.

Early reports have revealed other official cast members of "American Horror Story: Hotel" that include Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloe Sevigny, and Kathy Bates. Season 5 release date has been set on October.
